Custom engraving questions

What kind of photo works best?

Choose the original, highest-quality photo available. Bright, sharp images with the face clearly visible produce the strongest engraving. Avoid screenshots, heavy filters, blur, and photos where the subject is very small.

Does the photo background matter?

A simple background helps, but it is not required. The subject is prepared specifically for engraving, and we will let you know if a different photo would create a better result.

Will every engraving look exactly the same?

No two pieces of wood are identical. Natural differences in grain and tone are part of the character of a handmade engraving and make every finished piece unique.

Can you create something other than a pet portrait?

Yes. Themed engravings, family keepsakes, memorial pieces, names, dates, and personalized gifts can all begin with a custom request.
