I handcraft this cutting board from solid maple, sapele, and walnut, arranging their contrasting tones in a balanced geometric pattern. I finish each board by hand to highlight the wood’s natural grain, texture, and character.

I choose each piece of wood for its individual character. Light maple, warm sapele, and dark walnut bring depth to the design, while natural grain variation and subtle color shifts give this board its own appearance.

I build my boards for everyday kitchen use, from preparing ingredients to serving at the table. This board measures approximately 14 × 12 inches and is 1 inch thick.
