Striped Cutting Board — Maple, Sapele & Walnut — 14.5 × 11.5

Handcrafted in North Georgia

I handcraft this cutting board from solid maple, sapele, and walnut, arranging their contrasting tones in a striped geometric pattern. I finish each board by hand to highlight the wood’s natural grain, texture, and character.

I choose each piece of wood for its individual character. Light maple frames the warm sapele and dark walnut, while natural grain movement and subtle color shifts give this board its own appearance.

I build my boards for everyday kitchen use, from preparing ingredients to serving at the table. This board measures approximately 14.5 × 11.5 inches and is 1 inch thick.

Solid wood naturally responds to its environment. I recommend simple care and occasional oiling to help your board age beautifully. Full care instructions are available on my Care & Use page.
